In October 2006 the Children's HIV National Network (CHINN) Review was published recommending the development of national networks for paediatric and perinatal HIV.

CHIVA Networks sets out the details of multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) for each of the regional areas. Information includes model forms for clinical uses, local newsletters, and local events.
