Royal Wedding Support
We are delighted to have received 2 pieces of bespoke Royal Wedding inspired artwork which we are offering for private sale to raise funds for our 10th Annual support camp later in 2019.
During the summer of 2018, to celebrate the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, St Christopher’s Place curated a bespoke art installation from Jimmy C, which was displayed on St Christopher’s Place wall.
Jimmy C’s art is spread around London and across the globe in North & South America, Australia and Europe. His impressive portfolio comprises of the well-known Shakespeare portrait at Bankside in London, a mural of his signature hearts motif following the incident at Borough Market, Liberty London’s Cosmic Heart window display and his beloved mural of David Bowie in Brixton, which became a place of tribute to late musician.
The artwork was inspired by the infamous photograph announcing the couple’s engagement. Jimmy C liked the idea of focusing in on a detail, a gesture of intimacy with the hands enlaced, rather than a traditional portrait. Artwork dimensions: 204cm x 204cm.
