Governance

We rely on highly skilled volunteers to oversee our work and provide invaluable insight from their professional backgrounds. The majority are health professionals who have worked in paediatric HIV for many years.

Our Trustees

The role of the Trustee Board is to provide strategic direction and leadership. Trustees help ensure the financial and operational stability needed to advance Chiva’s aims and promote its continued development and effectiveness.

The Steering Group – Expert Groups

The Steering Group consists of three Expert Groups which consider and advise on specialist areas:

  • The Conference & Meetings Group is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of the annual conference, as well as quarterly Education Meetings
  • The Audits Group is responsible for leading on clinic audits
  • The Guidelines Group is responsible for writing and reviewing guidelines and updating the Chiva Standards of Care

There are also three Special Interest Groups. These are the Young Adult Special Interest Group, the Psychologists Group, and the CYP Nurses Group.
