Part time Finance Manager

Contract and Hours: Permanent, 24 hours per week, [3 days per week]
Location: Bristol, BS1
Salary: £32,000 per annum (FTE)

CHIVA's mission is to ensure that children, young people and families living with HIV become healthier, happier and more in control of their own futures.
CHIVA works to ensure young people living with HIV have the treatment and care, knowledge, understanding, skills and wider support needed to live well and achieve their greatest potential.
We are looking for a finance manager to join our expanding charity. You should have demonstrable experience in all aspects of finance and be able to manage your own workload and time. You should also be committed to the safeguarding of children and the ethos of the organisation.

Your main duties in the role will include leading the finance activity within the organisation, managing all accounting and finance activities, and ensuring ongoing financial viability, working alongside the CEO in preparing annual budgets and preparing financial reports to funders and the CHIVA Trustee Board. You will provide finance administration support to the organisation using accounting software.

Candidate requirements:

Demonstrable extensive experience in finance
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or equivalent.
Understanding of charity or business administration
Ability to manage own workload and work to deadlines
Demonstrated excellent proficiency in Excel for data analysis
Demonstrable understanding of, and commitment to, Confidentiality and Data Protection
Ability to work effectively as a team
