Steve has been a Consultant in Paediatric HIV and Infectious Diseases at Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham since 2006. He has helped to establish adolescent transition services regionally. Steve is one of the authors of the PENTA HIV treatment guidelines (2009, 2015, 2016), and is a member of CHIVA’s guidelines group. Steve is an active member of the PENTA Steering Committee, and is in charge of PENTA’s training activities. He has served as a Chair of the Children’s HIV Association 2011–2014.

Jolanta is a specialty lead for the paediatric ID services in Bristol & the South West Region. The services provide secondary and tertiary care for children with primary and acquired immunodeficiencies including HIV and consultative services for children with severe infectious diseases. As part of NIHR Clinical Research Network, Jolanta supports and actively participates in national and international clinical research trials related to Childhood Infection & Immunity as a principal investigator or sub-investigator. She is a trustee member of UK Children’s HIV Association Executive Committee, and an Education Lead of British Paediatric Allergy Infection and immunity Group.

Amanda Williams is a Consultant Paediatrician and specialist in paediatric infectious diseases at North-West London Hospitals Trust. CHIVA Honorary Secretary since 2008, elected Chair since 2015. Co-author of testing guidelines for looked-after children and CHIVA standards document.

Diane is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has worked for the past 20 years as part of a multidisciplinary service for children with HIV infection and their families attending the Family Clinic at St Mary’s Hospital in London. During this time she has taken an active role in promoting the psychological needs of children living with HIV both nationally and in Africa. Diane’s interests are in developmental and learning outcomes for these children, their understanding about HIV and how to enhance their coping. She is a founder member of the PHP (Paediatric HIV Psychology group in the UK) and was a member of the CHIVA Executive Committee until April 2011.

Ailsa has worked in paediatric immunology for the past 20 years and specialised in HIV for past 10 yrs. Currently, Ailsa is Paediatric ID Nurse Specialist based at Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Trust covering the northern region. She was a CHIVA Executive Committee as the Nurse Representative until 2015.

Katja Doerholt is a paediatric infectious diseases consultant with special interest in HIV, TB and antimicrobial prescribing in children at St George’s Hospital in London since 2009. She has been a member of the CHIVA Executive Committee since 2013.

Maren Koros is a Pharmacist working at the Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust. She has been working in the GUMed Department since 2007. She trained and qualified as a Pharmacist at the Akademia Medyczna Wroclaw, (Poland) in 2001. She did her Masters in Clinical Pharmacy at the Portsmouth University and qualified in 2008. She has been a member of the Executive committee of the Childrens’ HIV Association since 2011.
