Online Support Blog Post

We have continued to provide regular zoom sessions for two different age groups since the start of 2021. These groups have a relaxed feel and have different themes.

In January we held two debates which was something the groups had requested in their feedback before Christmas.

The debates were:

Who decides who I tell about my HIV – my parents or me?

and

Do you have to tell someone you have HIV before you have sex with them?

In February we held two very well attended sessions exploring questions about the COVID-19 vaccines. We had lots of guests in these sessions – Doctors, older people living with HIV, people who had had the vaccine.

During the sessions in March we talked about the future and young people shared their dreams and ambitions and how they hope to achieve these.

Young people tell us they enjoy attending these groups.
