2018 Annual CHIVA Conference
At this years conference, supported by an Educational Grant from ViiV, four applicants were awarded Critical Reviewer Scholarships. Please see their roundups of the sessions below:
Talking HIV 10 Years On- The Swedish Model
Professionals and Families collaborating to enhance HIV care for children and young people.
The Programme included:
- Preventing Mother To Child Transmission- the Swiss approach + breastfeeding update
- U=U- the story for young people
- 10 years on- Talking about HIV- the Swedish model.
Venue: Friends House, 173-177 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ. RCPCH has approved this activity for CPD in accordance with the current RCPCH CPD Guidelines.
The ‘Going Forward’ conferences are in affiliation with the Amsterdam Youth Force. The Amsterdam Youth Force is a movement of youth from around the world, represented currently in 28 countries. In order to show the situation of young people living with HIV around the world in all their diversity. They have set themselves the goal of increasing youth participation and youth representation during the International AIDS Conference 2018 in Amsterdam. Their focus is on the de-stigmatization of young people living with HIV as well as making sure that Sexual Health and Reproductive Rights are back on the radar for young people around the world.
