12th Annual Conference 2018

We are pleased to announce the 12th Annual CHIVA Conference ‘Going Forward’ will take place on Friday 2nd March from 8.45am-5pm. The Programme includes:

  • Preventing Mother To Child Transmission- the Swiss approach + breastfeeding update
  • U=U- the story for young people
  • 10 years on- Talking about HIV- the Swedish model.

CHIVA warmly invite delegates to join us for a pre conference dinner at Chettinad Restaurant 16 Percy Street W1T1DT at 7.30pm on Thursday 1st March. There will be a drinks reception followed by a Southern Indian meal. £20 per head including drinks. Please register here

For the first time in parallel to our conference, CHIVA are running a families conference on Saturday 3rd March.  This event is designed for families where one or more child is living with HIV and is free to attend. Click here to find out more.


The 'Going Forward' conferences are in affiliation with the Amsterdam Youth Force. The Amsterdam Youth Force is a movement of youth from around the world, represented currently in 28 countries. In order to show the situation of young people living with HIV around the world in all their diversity. They have set themselves the goal of increasing youth participation and youth representation during the International AIDS Conference 2018 in Amsterdam. Their focus is on the de-stigmatization of young people living with HIV as well as making sure that Sexual Health and Reproductive Rights are back on the radar for young people around the world. ViiVlogo.jpg
