Chiva conference 2026
SAVE THE DATE for the 2026 Chiva Conference which will take place from Thursday 12th – Friday 13th March at Warwick University.

Chiva conference 2025
The 2025 annual Chiva conference for health and social care professionals took place on Friday 4th April 2025 at Woburn House, London.
Two of the key themes covered on the day were:
- Adolescents globally and models of care in relation to transition
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The day also included workshops providing learning and development.

The RCPCH (Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health) approved this activity for CPD in accordance with the current RCPCH CPD Guidelines.

2024 conference
Our 18th annual Chiva conference took place on 15 March 2024 in Birmingham.
The day covered a range of vital issues and updates, from understanding HIV-related stigma, to engagement in care, youth involvement in Chiva’s work, and the latest HIV research. There were also afternoon workshops.

2023 conference
The 17th Annual Chiva conference: Growing up, growing older and living well with HIV, was held on Friday 17 March 2023 as a hybrid event.
The day covered the lifespan of what it means to grow up with HIV, from achieving U=U in vertical transmission, key new studies around infant feeding, the work of youth peer mentors in clinics, and ageing with HIV, among other issues.
