We’re always extremely grateful to those who help raise money towards our work. It helps us do even more for young people living with HIV and those who care for them.

Get started:

  • Set up a JustGiving page, linked to the Chiva JustGiving profile. This is an easy way to fundraise online. Follow this information on how to set up a page.
  • Let us know what you’re planning by tagging @chivaprojects in your social posts, or by emailing [email protected]. We can offer support and share your efforts across our social channels and through our networks.

See below how fundraisers like you are already raising money for Chiva.

Red Run

Star runner Etta the dog even got her own t-shirt and medal for completing the course!

Since 2018, Chiva has been part of the annual World AIDS Day Red Run, a 5/10K charity fun run and walk which takes place at Victoria Park in London in support of UK-based HIV charities. In 2024, 20 Chiva supporters ran and walked around the track in East London on the chilly Saturday morning.

Registration is now open for the 2025 Red Run which will take place on 22 November. Find out more and register here.

World AIDS Day Bake Sales, Pub Quizzes and Bingo

To commemorate World AIDS Day, several bake sales, pub quizzes, and even a bingo have been held to raise money for us. Get in touch if you would like to host an event and need any support to help organise. We may even be able to send along a colleague to talk about the work we do.

Walking the Wirral

Fundraisers, Ralph (10) and Alistair (13), walked the 12.5-mile Wirral Coastal Walk to raise money for our work. Despite a blister each and tired legs, they made it to the finish line.

Sponsored walks are easy to plan under your own steam if you want to take on a new challenge and explore a part of the UK you may not know.
