15th ANNUAL CHIVA CONFERENCE
The 15th Annual CHIVA Conference will take place on Friday 3rd September 2021 at Friends House in London.
This year we are running the conference as a hybrid event, with both in person and online attendance.
An exciting conference programme is confirmed for 2021, on the theme of health inequalities and adolescents.
We have some great speakers lined up, which includes:
- Keynote talks:
- Professor Linda-Gail Bekker (Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation): Young Women and Health Inequalities in South Africa
- Professor Alison Agwu (John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore): Adolescents and Health Inequalities: Experiences from USA
- Dr Caroline Foster and a young person from CHIVA: Adolescent health in the UK.
- Professor Adam Finn, Head of Bristol Children’s Vaccine Centre: COVID-19 Vaccinations for Children.
Abstracts are now invited for posters, and potential selection for oral presentation. This is a successful and important component of conference enabling delegates to keep abreast of important research and projects.
Deadline for abstract submissions: NOW extended to 25th June 2021
