Friday 3rd September 2021

At Friends House, London and Online

This year we ran our annual conference as a hybrid event, with both in-person and online attendance.

Conference Programme

We had some great talks and workshops, which includes:

  • Keynote talks:
  • Professor Linda-Gail Bekker (Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation): Young Women and Health Inequalities in South Africa
  • Professor Alison Agwu (John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore): Adolescents and Health Inequalities: Experiences from USA
  • Dr Caroline Foster and a young person from CHIVA: Adolescent health in the UK.
  • Professor Adam Finn, Head of Bristol Children’s Vaccine Centre: COVID-19 Vaccinations for Children.

Unfortunately, we needed to postpone the annual CHIVA family conference that was due to take place on 4th September 2021.

The 14th Annual CHIVA Conference (virtual event) took place on 15th October 2020. You can read the programme for more information on the event.

CHIVA's Family Conference was unfortunately not able to go ahead in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
